The Arthur Mirsky Scholarship Program

The Senior Academy at IU Indianapolis sponsors three scholarships for study at the university under the umbrella of the IU Indianapolis Arthur Mirsky Scholarship Program. The scholarship program was set in motion with a generous donation from a geology professor at IU Indianapolis, Art Mirsky, and his wife. The first three scholarships were given in 2003. Additional donations over the years have helped grow the endowment funds and maintain scholarship award levels of $3000-$4000 per student.

Students apply for these scholarships through the IU Indianapolis Scholarships portal and adhere to university rules and deadlines with respect to all three scholarships. The scholarship winners are honored, whenever possible, at the Senior Academy Annual Meeting in June. Funds are managed by the Indiana University Foundation and distributed through the IU Indianapolis Scholarships office.
