Tuesday, December 17, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Volunteer with Retire United at Shepherd’s Center This volunteer opportunity offers a very rewarding way to get in the holiday giving spirit. Senior Academy volunteers are invited to join Retire United volunteers (the United Way of Central Indiana retiree organization) for this annual event. This is a special way to give back to seniors with little or no family to celebrate the holidays. For many this may be the only holiday celebration. You do not have to stay the whole time and can sign up for a shift if necessary. Volunteer stations include: Set up, greeting and visiting with clients before party starts, table escort, food plating and serving, drinks, and clean up. Parking is available onsite. Around 200 Seniors are planning on attending and your help will go a long way! Won't you come along and spread some holiday cheer this season?
